Baby-Box 54/18 - Zeiss Ikon 1934 / 1938

As cute as its name this camera is like a jewelry or music box. It uses the scarce 127 film format which is a bit smaller than the 120. The lens Frontar is just a meniscus. To fire you have two options: 1/50s 11, or the flexibe combination B f11. Consider that with the latitude of modern films this is much less tighter than at the time of production. It has cable release and locks the shutter when the finder in not in position. It is well finished by the features and really cute.

Looking for 127 film ? Heve a look on   Fotoimpex  it is a vendor that distributes the film EFKE and much more. Site is in english, german and french. I used this EFKE film. It is from Croatia ! The emulsion is excelent in gradation but I found it a bit too thin and while drying it curls a lot but OK ! it is a 127.
