Vitessa L - Voigtlander - c1954

More creativity from Voigtlander. A folding doubled door 35 mm camera. Not only that but it uses a different system to wind the film by pushing the long stick on the top camera plate. Of course when not in use it can by pressured all way down. Lens is Ultron f 2, excellent quality. This model L has a uncoupled light meter. Last point about this camera is that it uses the light values scale so once you set on light value with a lever around the lens you can switch automatically different possible combinations of speed and apperture. This sounds more complicated today that coupled and automatic meters are standard but when you use this kind of setting for a while is quite easy to memorize (to a constant ASA number) light values to light conditions. Then you easily set you speed/apperture combination by knowing only one figure like: bright sun is 15, dull days are 12 and things like that.
