Rolleiflex 3.5F - Franke & Heidecke - 1960/1981

No doubt one of my pearls. According to   Craig Camera  this one bearing the number 2 802 974 was produced from 1960 to 1969 and it is said the "type 3". It is a great pleasure to use a Rolleiflex. It is fact that people behave differently in front of them. As many people say that might be because you are looking downwards and that makes like if you are more concerned with the camera than with the model. Whatever it is the result is something special.
It is not easy to shoot a Rolleiflex in low speeds without a tripod. I didn't find a way to do it without shaking the whole thing. This is the only minus preventing me to choose it more often than I do. I will not talk about the technicalities or history of this superb camera because there are sites that do it much better than I could possibly do. So have a look on:  Rollei TLR Club   or   Rollei Fototechnic

I don't have accessories for this Rolley except one: the panoramic head. I think it is interesting because the lens is not interchangeble and for landscapes it is a pity to be restrict to normal lens. The principle is quite simple. It is a spining platform that you can turn 360º and that clicks to tell you the best framing you can have in sequence. I have one example with this theater in Verona. It is not a good one because I did not have the pacience to align the vertical axe. So the collums on the right are not vertical as they should be. But it gives an idea.
