Canonet QL 17 - Canon - c1960/1980

Rangefinder camera with no interchangeable lenses. Rival of Olympus Pen cameras but in a higher level of features and prices. It is a perfect camera for those who want to stay with normal lens (45 mm in this case). Leaf shutter syncs flashes in all speeds. Has an automatic option with speed priority. Paralax correction directly on the viewfinder ! As you focus closer the screen with the bright frame slides in diagonal to show you the actual framing at the focus plane. On top of all has a very good lens f1.7, two to four times brighter than most of the point and shoot on sales today. Quick Load system is really effective. Full information on viewfinder and light meter uses a battery so it is capable of accurate reading even in low light. Why such a beautiful toy was discontinued ? Too much expensive to produce with so many mechanical parts I guess.
